1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Free Parking Place Order would be to remove free parking bays in Acton High Street on the south side outside 15/21, 33/43 and 155/157 High Street and one in Locarno Road.
3. The general effect of the Loading Places Order would be to (a) remove a loading place on the north side of High Street outside 102 to 104 (b) extend the loading bay on southside of High Street to include Nos. 33 to 37 and (c) provide new loading bays in Grove Road (in place of 2 shared use bays), Locarno Road (in place of a stop and shop bay) and in Melville Villas Road. These loading places would operate Mondays to Fridays 7am to 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 6pm with a 1-hour maximum stay and no return for 1 hour.
4. The general effect of the Prescribed Route Order would be to relocate the existing closure in Melville Villas Road southwards by 13 metres.
5. The general effect of the Waiting Amendment Order would be to revise waiting restrictions in Melville Villas Road to apply “at any time” to reflect the relocation of the closure’
6. The general effect of the Parking Place Order would be to relocate a permit parking place in Melville Villas Road to reflect the relocation of the closure’.
7. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, under the powers of section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, propose to. Modify the puffin crossings in
(i) High Street Acton to the south-east of Crown Street
(ii) High Street Acton to the south-east of Oldham Terrace;
(iii) High Street Acton to the east of Birkbeck Road;
(iv) High Street Acton to the east of Mansell Road;
(v) The Vale to the west of First Avenue
so as to revise the layout of the zig-zag markings to provide for the continuation of the cycle lanes through the crossings. The controlled areas for vehicles would remain unchanged.

9. The proposed Orders, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order and the crossing amendments including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
10. Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders or the crossing amendments should be sent in writing by e-mail to trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference ORD 4268 until the 2nd December 2020. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
