LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON
BANNER STREET, DUFFERIN STREET, FORTUNE STREET, GARRETT STREET, ROSCOE STREET AND WHITECROSS STREET
THE ISLINGTON (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 6) TRAFFIC ORDER 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 4th of June 2020 made the above mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be, during the restricted hours to prohibit any vehicle:
(a) Proceeding in a north-eastbound direction in Garrett Street to turn left into Whitecross Street;
(b) Proceeding in a south-westbound direction in Banner Street to turn right into Whitecross Street.
(c) Proceeding in Roscoe Street, the section north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Whitecross Street, to thereupon turn right or left into Whitecross Street;
(d) Proceeding in Dufferin Street, the section north-east of the north-east kerb-line of Whitecross Street, to therefore turn right into Whitecross Street; and
(e) Proceeding in north-eastbound direction in Fortune street, to thereupon turn left into Whitecross Street.
3. The Order, which will come into force on 12 June 2020 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours at the following location:

4. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any other relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may make application for the purpose to the high court within six weeks of the date of this notice.
