The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Provision of Health Services to Persons Not Ordinarily Resident (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 ”, (S.R. 2020 No. 25), which comes into operation on 7th March 2020.

This Rule exempts from health service charges any visitor to Northern Ireland who presents with Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
