TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (No.05) Order 2020" authorising the stopping up of a length of footpath as leads off Hazeldene Avenue, a length of unnamed footpath which lies to the south west of Reestone Place and the whole of the unnamed footpath surrounding No.76 Hazeldene Avenue at Newcastle upon Tyne in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne, to enable development as permitted by Newcastle upon Tyne City Council, reference 2019/0093/01/DET.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/3758) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at North Kenton Post Office, 37-39 Halewood Avenue, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 3RX.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 14 February 2020 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
