NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Ed Boyle (IP No. 9077) and Ben Leith (IP No. 20514) of KPMG LLP, 15 Canada Square, London E14 5GL (the ‘KPMG Liquidators’) and Sarah Rayment (IP No. 9162) of BDO LLP, 55 Baker Street, London W1U 7EU (the ‘BDO Liquidator’) were appointed joint liquidators (together, the ‘Joint Liquidators’) of Welcome Financial Services Limited (the ‘Company’) at a meeting of creditors held on 16 December 2019. The separate roles, functions and responsibilities of the KPMG Liquidators and the BDO Liquidator are set out in a protocol they entered into on 16 December 2019. At the creditors’ meeting on 16 December 2019, a liquidation committee was formed. Information regarding the liquidation committee can be found in the document titled “Initial Notice” available on the Portal.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Rule 14.28 of the Insolvency Rules (England & Wales) 2016 that the Joint Liquidators intend to declare a first and final dividend to unsecured creditors of the Company within twelve months (extended by the High Court from 2 months) of the last date for proving of 31 March 2020.

Creditors who have not already done so, must send their full names and addresses (and those of their Solicitors, if any), together with full particulars of their debts or claims to the Joint Liquidators at Welcome Financial Services Limited – in Liquidation c/o Regus, 6th Floor City Gate East, Tollhouse Hill, Nottingham NG1 5FS, or by email to liquidation@wfs.co.uk, by 31 March 2020 ("the last date for proving"). A proof of debt form (which must be completed) can be downloaded from the Portal or requested by email to liquidation@wfs.co.uk or by telephone at 0115 935 2216. If so requested, creditors should provide such further details or produce such documentation or other evidence as may appear to the Joint Liquidators to be necessary. A creditor who has not proved his debt before the last date for proving is not entitled to disturb, by reason that he had not participated in it, any dividend subsequently declared.

COURT ORDER

On 19 December 2019 the High Court ordered that the notices and documents that the Joint Liquidators are required to send to the Company’s potential creditors under the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 be delivered to the Company’s creditors by them being placed on the Portal and not by individual notice to all of the persons concerned.
