ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (HARWOOD TERRACE)(EXPERIMENTAL)(PRESCRIBED ROUTES) ORDER 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham made the above-mentioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The above mentioned order shall come into operation on Monday, 21st October 2019.

2. The general effect of the Hammermsith and Fulham (Harwood Terrace)Experimental)(Prescribed Routes) Order 2019 will will be to prohibit as an experiment any vehicle proceeding in Imperial Road from turning into Harwood Terrace. This prohibition will not apply to pedal cyclists.

3. Where it appears necessary for certain purposes, the Head of Transport Policy and Network Management, or any person authorised by them may modify or suspend the orders or any provisions in it, while the orders are in force.

4. For a period of 6 weeks from the day on which the Orders are made, a copy of all Orders and a copy of the Councils statement of reasons for making the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours by contacting the Parking Policy Team, Transport and Highways, Town Hall Extension, King Street, London W6 9JU.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
