1. The London Borough of Hounslow on 5 August 2019 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 30 September 2019.

2. The general effect of the above Orders will be to extend the Grove Park controlled parking zone (CPZ) which operates Monday to Friday, 10am–noon. The CPZ extension will consist of:

a) resident only parking bays in Burlington Lane and Sutton Court Road, Chiswick. Vehicles will be able to park in these bays if they display a valid permit during the operational hours without limit;

b) “permit holders only past this point” areas in Wilmington Avenue, Chiswick. Vehicles will be able to park in these areas if they display a valid permit during the operational hours without limit;

c) “shared use” short-stay parking bays in Burlington Lane and Sutton Court Road, Chiswick. Vehicles will be able to park in these bays during the operational hours if they display a valid resident or business permit without limit, or “pay by phone” – paying the parking changes by means of the Council’s cashless payment system for a maximum stay of 1 hour;

d) incorporating the existing short-stay parking bays in Burlington Lane and Park Road, Chiswick into this CPZ; and

e) waiting and loading restrictions in Burlington Lane, Grove Park Bridge, Staveley Road, Sutton Court Road and Wilmington Avenue, Chiswick.

Permit fees for resident permits, business permits and “pay by phone” parking charges will be as detailed in Schedule 1, 2, 3 and 4 to this Notice

3. Documents giving further information of the Orders can be viewed for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this Notice:

a) online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar; or

b) at the Customer services reception, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EB between the hours of 9am and 4.45pm Mondays to Fridays.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
