POLLEN STREET

THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 201*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a pedestrian and cycle zone in Pollen Street. All motor vehicles would be prohibited from entering the zone at any time. The existing northbound one-way working in Pollen Street would also be removed.

3. Please note that details of the pedestrian and cycle zone were originally published on 25th May 2018 and an exemption to allow goods vehicles to enter the zone for loading / unloading (between 7.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. on Mondays to Saturdays) was proposed. This exemption would no longer apply.

4. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at WSP, Room 216, 2nd Floor, Portland House, Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5RS.

6. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
