THE A483 TRUNK ROAD (JUNCTION 5 (MOLD ROAD INTERCHANGE) TO JUNCTION 6 (GRESFORD INTERCHANGE), WREXHAM COUNTY BOROUGH) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 201-

The Welsh Ministers propose to make an Order in exercise of their powers under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a permanent 50 mph speed limit on the lengths of the A483 trunk road between Junction 5 (Mold Road Interchange) and Junction 6 (Gresford Interchange) described in the Schedule to this Notice. A temporary 50 mph speed limit (S.I 2018/750) (W.147) is currently in place at the above location and will be revoked in a separate revocation order.

During a period of 21 days from 8 April 2019, a copy of the proposed Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at Gresford and District Community Library, Vicarage Lane, Gresford LL12 8UW or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference number qA1376334.

Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing to Orders Branch, Transport, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ or by e-mail to TransportOrdersBranch@gov.wales by 29 April 2019. Should you wish to object, support or make representations, we may need to consult with people and organisations outside of the Welsh Government. As part of the process of consulting with others we may pass information to them, including information you have given us and your personal data. We will, however, only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to enable us to deal with issues you have brought to our attention. If you do not wish for certain personal data to be forwarded to third parties, you should state why when submitting your correspondence and the Welsh Ministers will copy the representations to the appropriate third parties with the name and address removed and if there is to be a local Public Inquiry, the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.

SCHEDULE

The length of the northbound carriageway of the trunk road that extends from a point 70 metres south-west of the centre-point of Junction 5 (Mold Road Interchange) to the centre-point of Junction 6 (Gresford Interchange).

The length of the southbound carriageway of the trunk road that extends from the centre-point of Junction 6 (Gresford Interchange) to a point 40 metres south of the centre-point of Junction 5 (Mold Road Interchange).

The lengths of the trunk road northbound entry slip road and southbound exit slip road at Junction 5 (Mold Road Interchange).

The lengths of the trunk road northbound exit slip road and southbound entry slip road at Junction 6 (Gresford Interchange).
