CN GROUP PENSION SCHEME

(the “Scheme”)

NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND BENEFICIARIES UNDER SECTION 27(1) OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Newsquest Media Group Limited, as principal employer of the Scheme (of which CN Group Limited was previously the principal employer) and Newsquest Pension Trustee Limited, as the trustee of the Scheme (the “Trustee”) hereby give notice, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 and any other relevant power, that the Trustee is winding up the Scheme.

Any person who believes that he or she has a claim against, or entitlement to, a pension or any benefit or interest in the Scheme is hereby required to now make a claim.

Claimants should provide full details of their claim or entitlement (along with their full name, current address, date of birth and period of employment) to the Trustee, at the contact details below, no later than 15th April 2019.

After this date, the Trustee will proceed to finalise the winding up of the Scheme and will distribute the assets of the Scheme and secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries, having regard only to the persons whose claims and interests of which it has prior notice. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person who has not given notice of his or her claim or demand.

Any person who has been contacted by the Trustee, who has made a claim and received a response, or who is currently receiving a pension from the Scheme need not respond to this notice as the Trustee already has details of their claims and entitlements.
