The National Assembly for Wales having, in accordance with section 47 (1) of the Government of Wales Act 2006 nominated Mark Drakeford for appointment by Her Majesty to the office of First Minister for Wales, Her Majesty has in accordance with that nomination been pleased by Royal Warrant, bearing date the 22 January 2019 to appoint the said Mark Drakeford as First Minister for Wales with effect from the 12 December 2018.
