VARIOUS ROADS - REMOVAL/AMENDMENT OF CERTAIN PARKING PLACES AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS (T3(19) – MINOR BATCH NO. 1/2019

THE WALTHAM FOREST (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be in:

(a) Forest Drive East (FDE) E11 – south-east side – convert 5.5 metres of permit parking space outside No. 79 FDE to a single yellow line waiting restriction (syl) operating Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm inclusive;

(b) Langthorne Road (LR) E11 – north-east side – convert 6.5 metres of permit parking space outside No. 21 LR to a syl operating Mon-Fri 8am to 6.30pm inclusive;

(c) Manor Hall Gardens E10 – convert on the:

(i) north side - 16.5 metres of permit parking space opposite Nos. 6 to 8; and

(ii) south side – 7.5 metres of syl outside Nos. 6 to 8;

to double yellow lines “at any time” waiting restrictions; nb/ (1) new restrictions in paragraph 2 above are to accommodate new, or removal of dropped kerbs or, to allow for safe movement of vehicles to and from a new development site in manor Hall Gardens; and (2) the location mentioned in paragraph 2.(c) is currently within the GS experimental CPZ and will become operational at a future date to be determined

(d) Cann Hall Road E11 (CHR) –

(i) north-west side – remove all remaining permit parking outside No. 26 and 28 CHR and replace with dyls; and

(ii) south-east side - convert a 5 metre section of permit parking space to a Free Short Stay parking place operating Mon-Sat 8am - 6:30pm with a Max Stay 30min No Return within 2 hours, outside Nos. 247 and 249 CHR;

(e) Steele Road E11 (SR) – east side – outside No. 38 Cann Hall Road remove the Doctor’s only parking place and replace with permit parking space for CH permit holders operating Mon-Sat 8am to 6.30pm inclusive;

3. A copy of each of the Orders, the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effect of the Orders and measures can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; and (b) The Reception Desk, London Borough of Waltham Forest, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS.

4. Any person desiring to object to the proposals or to make any other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Engineering Design, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS quoting the scheme name T3(19) – Minor Batch 1 2019 by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
