THE BEXLEY (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. XX) TRAFFIC ORDER 20XX
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 32, 35 and 124 of and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local government Act 1985, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. **) Traffic Order 20XX, would be to further amend the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) Traffic Order 2015, to:-
(a) to amend the parking provisions for the Bexleyheath, Arnsberg Way car park (located on the north west corner of Arnsberg Way near the junction of Graham Road) to enable any motor vehicle to be parked between 5.00pm and 8.00am the following day subject to the tariffs proposed in item (b) below;
(b) to introduce the following parking tariffs for Pay at Machine or when using the “Pay by Phone” method of payment. The following tariffs will not apply to blue badge users:

| In all circumstances no purchased parking will extend beyond 8am. | |||
Note the provisions for free parking for blue badge holders at any time on any day remain, this amendment order simply allows other users to pay to park after 5pm, only blue badge holders may remain in the car park between 8am and 5pm.
3. Copies of the proposed Order, the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) Traffic Order 2015 (and Orders amending that Order), and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the London Borough of Bexley, Traffic Services, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT within 21 days of the date of this notice.
6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection
