The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire and Humber) (No.40) Order 2018" authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway adjoining the TEC Building Roof Car Park, a southern part width of Kendray Street and an irregular shaped area of highway connecting Kendray Street to Wesley Street at Barnsley, in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley to enable development as permitted by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council under reference 2017/0586.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/3055) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Barnsley Central Library, Wellington House, 36 Wellington Street, Barnsley, S70 1WA.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 21 September 2018 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
