1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 19 September 2018 made the above mentioned Orders under Section 6 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. This Order is made with the consent and agreement of the London Borough of Hackney.

2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Order would be to introduce a pedestrian and cycle zone with exemptions for Ultra Low Emission Vehicles or permit holders between 7am - 10am and 4pm – 7pm Monday to Fridays in:

Cowper Street

Singer Street

Tabernacle Street

4. The Order, which will come into force on 27 September 2018 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours at the following location:

Public Realm, Islington Borough Council, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1XR.

5. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any other relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the high court within six weeks of the date of this notice.
