THE A40 TRUNK ROAD (SENNYBRIDGE, POWYS) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 201-

The Welsh Ministers propose to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2), 4(2) and 124 of, and paragraph 27 of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the sides of the A40 Raglan to Llandovery Trunk Road known as High Street at Sennybridge in the County of Powys specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

Waiting is currently prohibited on some lengths of the trunk road concerned by virtue of The Trunk Road (A40) (Sennybridge, Powys) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1992 which will be revoked and re-enacted by the proposed Order.

During a period of 21 days from 22 March 2018, a copy of the proposed Order, together with a Plan and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours at Sennybridge Post Office, Brecon, Powys LD3 8PG and Powys County Council, Neuadd Brycheiniog, Cambrian Way, Brecon, LD3 7HR or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting the reference number qA1304574.

Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing to the Welsh Government, Orders Branch, Transport, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ by 11 April 2018. Please note: Should you wish to object, support or make representations, we may need to consult with people and organisations outside of the Welsh Government. As part of the process of consulting with others we may pass information to them, including information you have given us and your personal data. We will however, only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to enable us to deal with issues you have brought to our attention.

SCHEDULE

PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ON ANY DAY

1. The length of the north western side of the trunk road that extends in a south westerly direction for 10 metres from its junction with the U0309 access Road to Sennybridge Training camp.

2. The length of the north western side of the trunk road that extends in a north easterly direction for 315 metres from its junction with the U0309 access Road to Sennybridge Training camp.

3. The length of the north western side of the trunk road that extends in a south westerly direction for 17 metres from a point 184 metres south west of its junction with the C0048 Road to Coedwaungar.

4. The length of the north western side of the trunk road that extends in a south westerly direction for 141 metres from its junction with the C0048 Road to Coedwaungar.

5. The length of the north western side of the trunk road that extends in a north easterly direction for 75 metres from a point 32 metres north east of its junction with the C0048 Road to Coedwaungar.
