The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice of a proposal to make an Order under sections 10 and 41 of the Highway Act 1980 authorising the construction of four new slip roads to connect the A1 Trunk Road to the new Grantham Southern Bypass being constructed by Lincolnshire County Council.

Copies of the draft Order and the plan referred to in it may be inspected at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk and free of charge at all reasonable hours from 2 March 2018 to 16 April 2018 at Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln LN1 1YS and at South Kesteven District Council, St Peters Hill, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG31 6PZ. They may also be obtained, free of charge, from the address stated below.

Any person may object to the making of the Order within six weeks from the date of first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of State for Transport, care of National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR, quoting “Grantham Southern Growth Corridor Slip Roads Order” and stating the grounds of objection. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
