HOUNSLOW ROAD, HANWORTH - ROAD RECLASSIFICATION, 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION AND 20MPH ZONE.

A. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 3) ORDER 2018

B. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (WEIGHT RESTRICTION) (NO. 1) ORDER 2018

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow on 23 February 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 84(1) and 84(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Additionally, the Council is looking to reclassify Hounslow Road, Hanworth between Bear Road and A312 from an ‘A’ road to a ‘B’ road.

2. The general effect of the speed limit Order will be to impose a speed limit of 20mph in Hounslow Road, Hanworth - Hounslow Road between Bear Road and A312.

3. The general effect of the Weight Restriction Order will be to prohibit vehicles, the maximum gross weight of which exceeds 7.5 tonnes from proceeding in Hounslow Road, Hanworth between Bear Road and A312, except for loading and unloading.

4. Documents giving detailed information of the Orders can be viewed for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this Notice:

(a) On the Council’s website at www.hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar; or

(b) at the Forms and Documents Counter, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN between 9am and 4.15pm Mondays to Friday.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
