PROPOSED EXTENSION OF THE GREENFORD CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE

THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 201*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, in connection with the extension of the Greenford Station Controlled Parking Zone Q, to include Cayton Road, Daryington Drive, Middleton Avenue (between Downing Drive and Runnymede Gardens) and Runnymede Gardens, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Ealing (Greenford Station) (Residents Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 201* would be to:

(a) introduce parking places for the use of residents and their visitors in Cayton Road, Daryington Drive, Middleton Avenue (between Downing Drive and Runnymede Gardens) and Runnymede Gardens;

(b) provide that the parking places would operate between 10am and 11am and between 2pm and 3pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and

(c) provide that passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, motorcycles and disabled persons’ vehicles may be left in a parking place without limitation on time during the controlled hours and provided that with the exception of motorcycles and disabled persons’ vehicles, a valid (in an electronic form) Q zone permit or voucher has been issued to the vehicle.

3. The general effect of the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. *) Order 201* would be to amend existing waiting restrictions or introduce new waiting restrictions that apply either 24 hours or during the controlled hours between 10am and 11am and between 2pm and 3pm on Mondays to Fridays in lengths of Cayton Road, Daryington Drive, Middleton Avenue (between Downing Drive and Runnymede Gardens) and Runnymede Gardens.

3. Business Parking Permits will be available at a cost of £800 per annum and Residents’ Parking Permits at a cost of £68 per annum for first application (£53 for renewals) for the first vehicle at an address. These permits will be issued in an electronic form

4. Business Visitors Vouchers can be purchased at a cost of £1.20 per hour and Residents’ Visitors Vouchers can be purchased at a cost of 60 pence per hour. These vouchers would be issued in an electronic form

5. Borough wide visitors’ service vouchers would be available to park in the zone at a cost of £2.40 per hour.

7. The proposed Order, other documents including plans giving more detailed particulars of the Order, are available by either e-mailing Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order.

8. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing by e-mail to Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or by post to the Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference ORD 4100/djc until the 16th March 2018. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
