NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) introduce/extend the waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) relocate the existing loading bay outside Nos. 143-151 High Street, Penge to outside Nos. 157-161 High Street, Penge as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(c) relocate the existing two Pay and Display bays outside Nos. 157-161 High Street, Penge to outside Nos. 143-151 High Street, Penge as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

(d) reinstate the traffic management order for the existing time restricted free parking spaces in Mottingham Road, Mottingham as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(e) introduce additional Pay and Display bays, Shared Use bays, Resident Permit bays and Free bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(f) shorten the existing Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm waiting restriction on the north west side of Cintra Park, Anerley, at its junction with Belvedere Road, by 3.3m to facilitate the installation of a Bikehanger;

(g) introduce new disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(h) remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Executive Director of Environment and Community Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/656 not later than 21st February 2018.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:-

ABBOTS CLOSE, Orpington, (a) the south west side, from the north western kerbline of Monks Way north westwards to its extremity; (b) the north east side, from a point 1m north west of the south eastern boundary of No. 15 north westwards to its extremity.

ARDEN GROVE, Orpington, both sides, from the northern kerbline of Pinecrest Gardens northwards for a distance of 9m.

BARHAM CLOSE, Bromley, (a) the south west side, from the north western kerbline of Lower Gravel Road north westwards to the party wall of Nos. 1 and 2 Kingsmead Cottages; (b) the north east side, (i) from the north western kerbline of Lower Gravel Road north westwards to the south eastern boundary of No. 20; (ii) from a point 6m north west of the party wall of Nos. 17 & 18 north westwards to the eastern flank wall of No. 1.

BLAKENEY ROAD, Beckenham, (a) the north side, from a point 2m south east of a point opposite the common boundary of Broadwater Cottage and Riverside School north westwards to the southern boundary of No. 10; (b) the south side, from a point 20m south east of the common boundary of Broadwater Cottage and Riverside School north westwards to a point 8m south east of a point opposite the southern boundary of No. 10.

BRICKFIELD FARM GARDENS, Orpington, the north side, from the eastern kerbline of State Farm Avenue eastwards for a distance of 10m.

BROOKMEAD AVENUE, Bickley, both sides, from a point 10m west of the western kerbline of The Fairway eastwards to a point 10m east of the eastern kerbline of The Fairway.

CAPEL CLOSE, Bromley, (a) the south west to north east arm, (i) the north west side, from its junction with Barham Close north eastwards to a point 8m north east of the south western boundary of No. 1; (ii) the south east side, from the north eastern kerbline of Barham Close north eastwards for a distance of 8m; (iii) both sides, from the south western kerbline of the north west to south east arm south westwards for a distance of 7.5m; (b) the north west to south east arm, the south west side, from a point in line with the south eastern flank wall of No. 1 south eastwards to a point 5m south east of the south eastern kerbline of the south west to north east arm.

FIELDSIDE CLOSE, Orpington, both sides, from the eastern kerbline of State Farm Avenue eastwards for a distance of 5m.

GLENTRAMMON GARDENS, Orpington, both sides, from the western kerbline of Glentrammon Avenue westwards to its extremity.

GRASMERE GARDENS, Orpington, the island site fronting Nos. 40 to 55, (i) from a point 2m east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 40 & 41 anti-clockwise to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 54 & 55; (ii) from a point 4.5m east of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 41 & 42 clockwise to a point 6m north west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 52 & 53.

GREEN LANE, Chislehurst, the west side, from a point 7.5m south of the common boundary of No. 79 and Ye Olde Tudor Court northwards to a point 15m north of the northern kerbline of Albany Road.

GREENACRES CLOSE, Orpington, both sides, from the north eastern kerbline of State Farm Avenue north eastwards for a distance of 8m.

HARLANDS GROVE, Orpington, (a) the south west side, from the back edge of footway of Pinecrest Gardens south eastwards for a distance of 8m; (b) the north east side, from the back edge of footway of Pinecrest Gardens south eastwards for a distance of 7m.

HIGH BROOM CRESCENT, West Wickham, (a) the west side, from the northern kerbline of St. David’s Close northwards to a point 3m north of the southern boundary of No. 40; (b) the east side, from the north western kerbline of St. David’s Close northwards to a point 1m north of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 38 & 40.

HUNTER’S GROVE, Orpington, (a) the north west side, from the south western kerbline of State Farm Avenue south westwards for a distance of 5m; (b) the south east side, from the south western kerbline of State Farm Avenue south westwards for a distance of 7m.

KENT ROAD, West Wickham, the east side, from a point 3m north of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 13 & 15 northwards for a distance of 5.5m.

LOWER GRAVEL ROAD, Bromley, the north west side, from a point 12.5m south west of the south western kerbline of Barham Close north eastwards to a point 9m north east of the north eastern kerbline of Barham Close.

MONKS WAY, Orpington, (a) the even numbered side, from the south western kerbline of Abbots Close south westwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the odd numbered side, from a point 9m north east of the common boundary of Nos. 19 & 21 to a point 3.5m north west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 22 & 24.

OLD PERRY STREET, Chislehurst, (a) the western arm, both sides, from the south eastern kerbline of Perry Street south eastwards for a distance of 10m; (b) the eastern arm, the north west side, from the south eastern kerbline of Perry Street south westwards to a point 8m north east of a point opposite the south western boundary of ‘Elmleigh’; (c) the eastern arm, the south east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Perry Street south westwards to a point 4m south west of the north eastern boundary of ‘Elmleigh’.

HIGH STREET, Penge, the north east side, from a point 2m north west of the party wall of Nos. 151 & 153 north westwards for a distance of 12m (2 parking spaces).

Pay and Display parking between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive and between 10am and 5pm on Sundays, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. £1 per hour – no maximum stay:-

STATION ROAD, Bromley, the south east side, from a point 3.5m south west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 17 & 19 south westwards for a distance of 5m (1 additional parking space).

SHARED USE PARKING PLACES

Pay and Display parking between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive and between 10am and 5pm on Sundays, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. £1 per hour – no maximum stay. Permit holders may park during the permitted hours with no additional charge.:-

BABBACOMBE ROAD, Bromley, the north west side, from a point 6.5m south west of the southern kerbline of Ronalds Road south westwards for a distance of 6m (1 additional parking space).

STATION ROAD, Bromley, the north west side, from the party wall of Nos. 13 & 15 north eastwards for a distance of 9m (2 additional parking spaces).

RESIDENT PERMIT PARKING PLACES

Permit holders only between 12noon and 2pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:-
