TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.02) Order 2018" authorising the stopping up of: a length of footway between Chestnut Grove and the car park at Church Road; three part-widths of Church Road comprising footway; the footpath connecting Marquis Street and Frodsham Street; the former footpaths bounded by Frodsham Street, Warrington Street, Thompson Street and Church Road; and the former footpath between Church Road and Mill Street; at Tranmere in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. This is to enable development as permitted by Wirral Council under reference APP/17/00897.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/3062) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Seacombe One Stop Shop, Dave Jackson Suite, Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey CH44 8ED.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 31 January 2018 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
