THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (ST MARY’S CHURCH LAY-BY, MONA ROAD, MENAI BRIDGE, ANGLESEY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 201-

The Welsh Ministers propose to make an Order in exercise of their powers under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) and 4(2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time of any day and restrict waiting to a maximum duration of 2 hours in any period of 4 hours on the lengths of the A5 trunk road lay-by at Mona Road, Menai Bridge, Anglesey described in the Schedules to this Notice.

During a period of 21 days from 31 January 2018, a copy of the proposed Order, plan, the Order being revoked and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Isle of Anglesey Council, Council Offices, Llangefni LL77 7TW or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference number qA1308540. Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made and quoting reference qA1308540, must be made in writing to Orders Branch, Transport, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ by 21 February 2018. Should you wish to object, support or make representations, we may need to consult with people and organisations outside of the Welsh Government. As part of the process of consulting with others we may pass information to them, including information you have given us and your personal data. We will however only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to enable us to deal with issues you have brought to our attention.

SCHEDULE 1

PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME

The length of the eastern side of St Mary’s Church lay-by that extends from a point 7 metres south of the centre-point of the access road to St Mary’s Church to a point 24 metres north of the centre-point of that road.

The length of the eastern side of St Mary’s Church lay-by that extends from a point 44 metres north of the centre-point of the access road to St Mary’s Church to a point 68 metres north of the centre-point of that road.

SCHEDULE 2

RESTRICTION OF WAITING (LIMITED TO 2 HOURS IN ANY PERIOD OF 4 HOURS)

The length of the eastern side of St Mary’s Church lay-by that extends from a point 24 metres north of the centre-point of the access road to St Mary’s Church to a point 44 metres north of the centre-point of that road.

The length of the western side of St Mary’s Church lay-by that extends from a point 13 metres north of the centre-point of the access road to St Mary’s Church to a point 48 metres north of the centre-point of that road.
