THE HACKNEY (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 10) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 25th January 2018 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to;

a) Clapton Park Estate, At various locations, Add no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions to protect Emergency access routes

b) Haggerston Road, amend existing parking bays and no waiting ‘at any time’ restriction in line with the new road layout;

c) Haggerston Road, replace two sections of no waiting Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 6:30 pm between junctions of Dunston Road and Pamela Street with no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions;

d) Haggerston Road, introduce 11m loading bay outside North Mill apartments replacing a section of shared use bay.

e) Knightland Road; Add no waiting at any time waiting restrictions at the entrances to Knightland House.

f) Iveagh Close, add no loading ‘at any time’ restrictions to existing no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions opposite Nos 32 to 45;

g) Malvern Road, amend existing parking bays and no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions to accommodate new dropped kerb access;

h) Malvern Road, change the resident parking bay outside Nos 73 and 75 Malvern Road to shared use;

i) Middleton Road, amend no loading ‘at any time’ restrictions at the junctions of Mayfield Road, Mulberry Road and Lansdowne Drive to match the on-street markings;

j) Morning Lane, amend the no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions between its junctions with Homerton Terrace and Ponsford Street to match the on-street markings;

k) Reading Lane, amend the existing no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions and parking bays to accommodate the new dropped kerb access;

l) Springfield, replace the no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions along the south east kerb line with no waiting 8.30am-6.30pm from its junction with the Red Route at the junction of Upper Clapton Road for a distance of 5m north east.

m) Victoria Park Road, replace a section of permit parking bay outside No. 75 with no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions to accommodate a new dropped kerb access,

n) Victorian Grove, add no loading ‘at any time’ restrictions to existing no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions adjacent to No. 2a

o) Wilmer Place, add no loading ‘at any time’ restrictions along the southern kerb to match the on-street markings

Off Street

a) Introduce no waiting at any time in various locations within the roads making up the following estates to protect emergency entry and access:

• Grace Jones Close;

• St Mary’s Estate;

• Norfolk House;

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 5th February 2018, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, in the visitors reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, E8 1DY. 4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
