The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places on Roads and Waiting Restrictions (Newcastle) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018” (S.R. No. 15) which will come into operation on 5th February 2018.

The Order will introduce parking places and waiting restrictions on lengths of road in Newcastle. The Order will also revoke and re-enact other parking places and waiting restrictions in Newcastle. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.
