THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (MOTORCYCLE PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be, in connection with the introduction of a local safety scheme, to revise waiting, loading and parking restrictions in Bedford Street, Garrick Street and Henrietta Street, as detailed below:

BEDFORD STREET

(a) replace a residents’ parking space adjacent to No. 22 Henrietta Street with “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions;

(b) replace five residents’ parking spaces outside Nos. 15 to 19 with “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions;

(c) replace five pay-by-phone parking bays outside Nos. 35 to 38 with residents’ parking;

(d) replace 5.5 metres of double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions outside No. 30 with a residents’ parking space;

(e) replace 5 metres of single yellow line waiting restrictions outside Nos. 10 to 14 with a residents’ parking space; and

(f) introduce “at any time” loading restrictions at the junction of Bedford Street with Chandos Place and Maiden Lane and Henrietta Street.

GARRICK STREET, replace a length of single yellow line waiting restrictions outside Nos. 10 to 12 with an additional pay-by-phone parking bay.

HENRIETTA STREET

(a) remove two residents’ parking spaces from outside Nos. 17 to 18; and

(b) introduce four pay-by-phone parking bays outside Nos. 16 to 18.

Please note there would be no overall loss of designated parking spaces / bays associated with the above proposals.

3. The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at WSP, Palace Gardens Suite, 27th Floor, Portland House, Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5RS.

5. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
