THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (MOTORCYCLES) (AMENDMENT NO *) ORDER 201* AND VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and introduce footway parking places, exempted under the GLC General Powers Act 1974.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: -

(i) introduce new disabled persons’ parking places, at a maximum of 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons’ ‘blue badge’ would be permitted to park, (unless otherwise stated) either outside of, or alongside, the following properties: -

26 Acacia Road N22, 6 Belmont Road N15, 92 Church Road N17, 76A Crescent Road N22, 33 Crossfield Road N17, 5 Eastern Road N22, 4 Fairbourne Road N17, 208 Farrant Avenue N22 (for the use of a resident of 521 Lordship Lane N22), 21 Gaskell Road N6, 20 Hanbury Road N17, 123 Hewitt Road N8, 25 Jellicoe Road N17, 106 Lealand Road N15, 87 Sherringham Avenue N17, 11 South View Road N8, 94 Sydney Road N8 and 17 Umfreville Road N4;

(ii) extend the length of an existing disabled parking bay outside of 106 Lealand Road N15;

(iii) relocate an existing disabled parking bay, and a solo motorcycle bay, outside of the Library in Haringey Park N8; and

(iv) remove disabled parking bays outside (unless otherwise stated) of the following properties: -

27 Abbotsford Avenue N15, Abbotsford Avenue N15: the south-west side at its junction with Black Boy Lane, 63 Ashfield Road N4, 90 Broadwater Road N17, 8 Cobham Road N22, 121 Craven Park Road N15, 127 Craven Park Road N15, 119 Crouch Hill N8, 51 Daleview Road N15, 22 Fortis Green Avenue N2, 49 Grand Avenue N10, 55 Greyhound Road N17, 31 Hewitt Road N8, 116 Hewitt Road N8, 4-6 Kenwood Road N6, 251 Lightfoot Road N8, 326 Philip Lane N15, 44 Ridge Road N8, 16 Sandringham Road N22, 29 Spigurnell Road N17, 89 & 90 Steeds Road N10, 46 Warner Road N8, 352 White Hart Lane N17, 50 Willingdon Road N22, 48 Winchelsea Road N17 and 20 Yeatman Road N6

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.

4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 1st floor, 225, High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ or to traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk within 21 days from the date of this Notice.
