Notice is hereby given to all parties who are or were members of the BFBS Section of The SSVC Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) that this Section is to be wound up.

This Section of the Scheme relates to members who were an employee of the British Forces Broadcasting Service on 31 March 1983 and in respect of whom a transfer payment was made from the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme to the Scheme on 1 April 1983.

It is believed that all members of the Section and their benefits under it have been identified and the Trustees announce their intention to distribute the assets of this Section. If you were a member of this Section and believe you may be entitled to benefits from it and you have not been contacted by the Trustees in the last month, please post notification of your claim specifying your full name, address and particulars of your membership of the Section to HS Admin, 25 Goodlass Road, Liverpool L24 9HJ. Claims must reach that address on or before 28 February 2018. Claims received after the above date will be excluded from the benefits under the Section.
