1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow proposes to make the above mentioned orders under Sections 6, 7, 45, 46, 47, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

2. Overview – these orders propose to add part of Lorne Rd, Grant Rd and Locket Road into the proposed Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) J extension, as a result of representations received from the previous statutory consultation performed in October 2017.

3. Proposed extension of Controlled Parking Zone J – Lorne Road, Grant Road and Locket Road.

It is therefore proposed to include the following addresses in the proposed Controlled Parking Zone J extension, for permit eligibility. The hours of operation of Zone J are proposed as 7am to Midnight, Monday to Sunday.

Proposed additional permit eligibility for Controlled Parking Zone J – 7am to Midnight.

Lorne Road (Nos. 1 to 41 odd & Nos. 2 to 44 even), Grant Road (the entire road), Locket Road (Nos. 1 to 67 odd & Nos. 2 to 90 even)

4. Permits, if required, would cost the following per household: 1st vehicle £70, 2nd vehicle £105, 3rd vehicle £140, 4th and subsequent vehicles £175 each. Visitor permits would cost £17.50 per quantity of ten, 50% discount for OAP’s.

5. This predominantly means 7am – Midnight waiting restrictions outside the addresses listed above.

6. The general effect of the parking places amendment order would be to further amend The Harrow (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2014, so as to make provision for the conversion of existing CPZ CA permit parking places, into Zone J permit parking places outside the addresses listed above . Shared zone CA & J permit parking places are proposed in Lorne Road, between Locket Road and No. 43 Lorne Road.
