THE A63 TRUNK ROAD (NORTH CAVE INTERCHANGE TO DALTRY STREET INTERCHANGE) (PROHIBITION OF CYCLISTS) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the A63 Trunk Road in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The effect of this Order, if made, will be to prohibit, cyclists from entering or using the A63:

(i) eastbound carriageway from the entry slip road at the B1230 North Cave Interchange to the exit slip road at Daltry Street Interchange, a distance of 23,461 metres;

(ii) westbound carriageway from the exit slip road at Daltry Street Interchange to the exit slip road at North Cave Interchange, a distance of 23,906 metres

; (iii) eastbound entry and westbound exit slip roads at North Cave Interchange;

(iv) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at the A1034 South Cave Interchange;

(v) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Welton Road Interchange;

(vi) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Melton Interchange;

(vii) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at the A15 Humber Bridge Interchange;

(viii) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Priory Way Interchange;

(ix) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at the A1166 Brighton Street Interchange; and

(x) eastbound exit and westbound entry slip roads at Daltry Street Interchange.

A copy of the proposed Order, plans illustrating the proposal and a statement explaining Highways England Company Ltd reasons for proposing to make this Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at West End News SC Ltd, 30 West End, South Cave, Brough HU15 2EY and Elloughton Post Office, 76 Main Street, Elloughton, Brough, HU15 1HU or may be seen at or obtained by application from, the office of the Director, Operations Directorate (Yorkshire & North East), Highways England, 3rd Floor South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds, LS11 9AT, quoting the above Order title.

Any person wishing to object to Highways England proposal to make this Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director at the above address. The objection should quote the above order title and must be received not later than Monday 19 February 2018. Information provided in response to this consultation, including personal information, may be subject to publication or disclosure in accordance with the access to information regimes (these are primarily the Freedom of Information Act 200 (FOIA), the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004).
