THE GLA ROADS (LONDON BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM) (BUS PRIORITY) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2009 A21 GLA ROAD (BROMLEY ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2018

THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (LEWISHAM) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A21 GLA ROAD (BROMLEY ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2018

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

a) Remove the 14 metre Loading and Disabled Persons' Vehicle bay outside No.2 Elimira Street and replace with Double Red Lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’;

b) Amend the hours of operation of the northbound Bus Lane on Bromley Road outside Nos. 9 to 74 from Mon-Sat 7am-7pm to Mon-Sun 7am-7pm;

c) Introduce Double Red Lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ on the western kerb line of Bromley Road outside Nos. 9 to 74, replacing existing Single Red Lines;

d) Formalise the existing Parking bay outside No.39 Deptford Broadway;

e) Formalise the Loading and Disabled Persons' Vehicle bay outside No.72 Loampit Hill;

f) Formalise the existing Double Red Lines ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ on the western kerb line of Molesworth Street between its junction with Engate Street and Riverdale House.

3. The roads which would be affected by the Order are the A21 GLA Roads - Bromley Road, Molesworth Street, A2 GLA Road - Deptford Broadway and the A20 GLA Road – Loampit Hill and GLA Side Road – Elmira Street in the London Borough of Lewisham.

4. A copy of the Orders, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Orders revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:

5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ quoting reference NP/REGULATION/STOT/TRO, GLA/2018/0011+0026+0082, to arrive before 14th February 2018. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
