THE BEXLEY (BEXLEYHEATH TOWN CENTRE) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 5) TRAFFIC ORDER 2018

THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 9) TRAFFIC ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 22nd January 2018 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 5) Traffic Order 2018 would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2015 to introduce resident parking places on the south side of Albion Road between its junctions with Pincott Road and Victoria Road. The operational hours of the parking places would be Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. The charges and conditions of use for these spaces will be as for the existing Bexleyheath Town Centre Controlled Parking Zone.

3. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 9) Traffic Order 2018 would be to amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2017 to:

a) Introduce no waiting and no loading at any time restrictions for a short length of Albion Road west of Pincott Road.

b) Amend the single yellow line between Pincott Road and Victoria Road from no waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm, to Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 5.30pm.

4. Copies of the Orders which become operational on 29th January 2018, the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2015 and the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2015 (and any Orders that have amended those Orders), the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and plans which indicate the roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not made within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the High Court before the expiration of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made.
