NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER OF BONA VACANTIA

WHEREAS it has been represented to me, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, that the whereabouts of Elizabeth Linton, sometime of Flat 3/left, 19 Garturk Street, Glasgow, are unknown and that the heritable property after mentioned, in which the said Elizabeth Linton was heritably vest, may therefore have fallen to the Crown as bona vacantia at common law, namely ALL and WHOLE the subjects now known as Flat 3/left, 19 Garturk Street, Glasgow, being the southmost dwellinghouse on the third floor above the ground floor of the tenement of dwellinghouses known as number 19 Garturk Street, Glasgow together with the whole rights, parts, privileges and pertinents effeiring thereto, being the subjects more particularly described in the disposition by the Co-operative Insurance Society Limited in favour of Elizabeth Linton recorded in the Division of the General Register of Sasines applicable to the County of the Barony and Regality of Glasgow on 28 September 1960: Now THEREFORE I, DAVID BRYCE HARVIE, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, in exercise of my discretion as the Crown’s representative in Scotland in respect of any bona vacantia arising at common law, DO BY THIS NOTICE WAIVE and DISCLAIM the Crown’s whole right and title (if any) in and to the aforesaid heritable property arising at common law.
