THE A69 TRUNK ROAD ( SCOTBY TO AGLIONBY) (DERESTRICTION) ORDER 201X

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Highways England Company Limited proposes to make an Order under Sections 82(2) and 83(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the A69 Trunk Road in the County of Cumbria.

The effect of this Order, if made, would be to remove the 30mph speed limit automatically imposed by the installation of street lighting and restore the national speed limit on the A69 Trunk Road from a point 191 metres east of Scotby Road Junction to a point 160 metres east of Aglionby East Junction, a distance of 1230 metres.

A copy of the proposed Order, a plan illustrating the proposal and a statement explaining Highways England Company Limited reasons for proposing to make this Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at Road Link (A69) Ltd, Stocksfield Hall, Stocksfield, Northumberland NE43 7TN or may be seen at or obtained by application from the office of the Director, Operations Directorate (Yorkshire and North East), Highways England, 3rd Floor South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds LS11 9AT.

Any person wishing to object to Highways England proposal to make this Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director at the above address. The objection should quote the above title and must be received not later than Monday 12 February 2018. Information provided in response to this consultation, including personal information, may be subject to publication or disclosure in accordance with the access to information regimes (these are primarily the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004).
