TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (South West) (No.1) Order 2018" authorising the stopping up of the whole of the network of highways bounded by the northern and southern arm of Woodroffe Square, the footpath adjoining the western boundaries of no.s 36 to 44 Woodroffe Square and the footpath adjoining the eastern boundaries of no.s 5 to 12 Woodroffe Square and connecting highways at Calne in the County of Wiltshire to enable development as permitted by Wiltshire Council, under reference 17/07485/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/3080) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Calne Town Council, Bank House, The Strand, Calne SN15 3UW.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 18 January 2018 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
