The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.01) Order 2018" authorising the stopping up of the whole of an unnamed footpath and a length of two unnamed footpaths which lead off Portland Way and the whole of an unnamed footpath which leads off Weymouth Avenue at St Helens, in the Metropolitan Borough of St Helens to enable development as permitted by St Helens Council, under reference P/2016/0923/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/3077) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Central Library, Victoria Square, St Helens WA10 1DY.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 18 January 2018 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
