THE EALING (PARKING PLACES) (STOP AND SHOP WITH ADDITIONAL CASHLESS PARKING) (AMENDMENT NO. 27) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, on the 11th January 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Pay and Display Order will be to remove the pay and display parking in the South Road service road and revise the pay and display parking place in South Road to apply between Nos 54 and No. 90 South Road. The maximum stay at the parking place will be increased to 2 hours and the charge for using the parking place will remain at £2 per hour. The parking place will operate between 9am and 6pm on Mondays to Saturdays and between 10am and 6pm on Sundays.

3. The general effect of the Free Parking Order will be to remove the stop and shop parking places in the South Road service road and the stop and shop parking places in South Road outside Nos. 54 to 72.

4. The general effect of the Stop and Shop Order will be to provide 30 minute limit free parking places in St Joseph’s Drive and Cambridge Road.

Vehicles will be permitted to remain in these parking places beyond the 30 minutes free parking period for an additional period of up to 2 hours on payment of a parking charge of £2 including the 20p transaction fee. The parking charge will be payable through the telephone payment system operated by RingGo and will be required to be paid for by the end of the free parking period. The operational hours of the parking place will be between 10am to 8pm on Mondays to Saturdays and 2pm and 8pm on Sundays and no return to the bays will be permitted for 1 hour.

5. The Orders, which will come into operation on 15th January 2018, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available by e-mail from Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 22nd February 2018.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by the 22nd February 2018.
