PEDAL CYCLE 'QUIETWAY' ROUTE Q14: TANNER STREET

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (PEDAL CYCLE QUIETWAYS) (NO. 9) TRAFFIC ORDER 2018

1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that on 11 January 2018 it has made the above order under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The effects of the order are: to introduce a new north-eastbound segregated contra-flow cycle lane in TANNER STREET; from a point directly opposite the south-eastern kerb-line of Maltby Street, at its junction with Tanner Street, and extending north-eastwards for a distance of 35 metres, parallel to the northern kerb-line of Tanner Street and marked by a segregating kerb, as part of a scheme of pedal cycle priority ‘Quietway’.

3. Copies of the orders, which will come into force on 15 January 2018, and of all other relevant documents are available for inspection at Highways, Southwark Council, Environment and Social Regeneration, 3rd floor hub 2, 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2QH. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
