THE WANDSWORTH (SOUTHFIELDS) (PARKING PLACES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 8th January 2018 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:

(a) in Holman Road, to install double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the south side of its junction with Yelverton Road;

(b) in Lydden Grove, to extend the single yellow line waiting restrictions and remove the unregulated free parking bays:

(i) on the east side, opposite Nos. 71 and 73 Lydden Grove; and

(ii) on the west side, adjacent to No. 71 Lydden Grove;

(c) in Maskell Road, install double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions:

(i) on all sides of the access road to Nos. 90 to 132 Maskell Road; and

(ii) on the north-east side adjacent to Nos. 118 to 132 Maskell Road;

(d) in Pirbright Road:

(i) on the south side, to convert the single yellow line waiting restrictions between Nos. 92 and 93 Pirbright Road to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions; and

(ii) on the north side, convert the shared use parking space outside No. 83 Pirbright Road to a solo motorcycle bay;

(e) in Ruvigny Gardens:

(i) remove the single yellow line waiting restrictions adjacent to No. 12 Lower Richmond Road and extend the shared use parking bay ;

(ii) convert the single yellow line waiting restrictions outside Nos. 27 to 32 Ruvigny Gardens to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions; and

(iii) convert the disabled parking bay adjacent to No. 34 Lower Richmond Road to a shared use parking bay;

(f) in Siward Road, to convert the single yellow line waiting restrictions to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions:

(i) on all sides of the access road to Nos. 3 to 25 Siward Road; and

(ii) on all sides of the access road to Nos. 27 to 51 Siward Road;

(g) in Yelverton Road:

(i) to install double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on all sides of the junction with Holman Road; and

(h) to extend the double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the west side (north to south arm) outside Sesame Apartments by 19.8 metres.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 29th January 2018, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

5. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Department of Environment and Community Services at the address given below.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
