THE TOWER HAMLETS (B3 PARKING PLACES) (NO.1) ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT NO.15) ORDER 2017 NO.50

THE TOWER HAMLETS (WAITING AND LOADING) (NO.1) ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT NO.32) ORDER 2017 NO.51

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on 11th January 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under the Section 6, and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be in:

a) Blair Street -

i) To upgrade all the existing Single Yellow Lines to Double Yellow Lines (24 hours Waiting Restrictions– At Any Time) on both sides of the road between Goodway Gardens and Wooster Gardens.

ii) On the south side, revoke five Resident Parking spaces between the west kerb lines of Ada Gardens and Wooster Gardens.

b) Saunderness Road -

To introduce No Loading ‘At Any Time’ – 24 hour restrictions from the junction of Ferry Street, eastwards for a distance of 66m.

3. The Regulations, fees and usual exemptions imposed by the governing Traffic Management Orders would apply to the proposals referred to in paragraph 2, as above.

4. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 11th January 2018 and all relevant documents can be inspected at the Parking Mobility &Transport Services Offices, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E1 0HJ (020 7364 6952) by prior appointment during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
