1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich on 8th January 2018 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into operation on 15th January 2018.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to provide that the use of the existing electric vehicle charging places in Eltham Palace Road, John Wilson Street (the service road situated on the north-east side between Calderwood Street and Wellington Street), Maidenstone Hill and West Parkside will be limited 'at any time' to electric vehicles whilst charging, for a maximum duration of stay of 45 minutes.

The Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills, Strategic Transportation, Royal Borough of Greenwich, The Woolwich Centre, 35 Wellington Street, SE18 6HQ.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
