NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST (STOPPING UP OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH) (NO. 1) ORDER 2017

The above order was made on 20 December 2017 by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The effect of the order will be to stop up:

• the full length of public footpath 51 running from Vallentin Road to Marlowe Road, E17 as shown on the order plan and being a total length of 92.6 metres; and

• part of public footpath 52 which runs from the rear boundary of 152 Marlowe Road to the front of 158 Marlowe Road, E17 as shown on the order plan and being a total length of 61.5 metres

in order to enable development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by the London Borough of Waltham Forest on 20 September 2016 under reference 151652/FUL. Alternative routes will be provided as part of the development.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen during normal office hours at: (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; and (b) Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS free of charge.

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent in writing to Legal Services, Waltham Forest Town Hall, Forest Road, London, E17 4JF (Ref: NHP.52/JW) not later than 5 February 2018. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If opposed, the order will be sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions for confirmation and any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
