The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Waiting Restrictions (Portstewart) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017”, (S.R. 2017 No. 238), which comes into operation on 22 January 2018. The rule will prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of Strand Road, Portstewart. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances. The rule will also revoke and re-enact existing waiting restrictions in Portstewart.
