THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (C ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. 59) ORDER 2018

THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 291) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 2nd January 2018 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to revise waiting and parking restrictions as detailed below:

EDBROOKE ROAD

(a) to replace two existing residents’ parking spaces on the north-east side (adjacent to No. 68 Elgin Avenue) with 10 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions; and

(b) to relocate the residents’ parking spaces referred to in paragraph (a) above to the south-west side (outside Nos. 61 and 63 Edbrooke Road) to replace 10 metres of single yellow line waiting restrictions.

GOLDNEY ROAD

(a) to replace the existing residents’ parking space on the south-west side (outside No. 34) with 5 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions; and

(b) to relocate the parking space referred to in paragraph (a) above to the north-east side (outside the northern-western entrance to Edbrooke Road Gardens) to replace 5 metres of single yellow line waiting restrictions.

3. The Orders, which will come into force on 10th January 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until 13th February 2018 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at WSP, Palace Gardens Suite, 27th Floor, Portland House, Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5RS.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
