TWICKENHAM STADIUM EVENT DAYS WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE – ALGAR ROAD, ISLEWORTH, BYFIELD ROAD, ISLEWORTH AND TOLSON ROAD, ISLEWORTH

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, having consulted the London Borough of Hounslow, on 4 January 2018 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders is to: -
(a) introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time on Byfield Road, Isleworth on the west side, from a point 1.5 metres south of the northern flank wall of No. 20 Byfield Road, northwards for a distance of 13.5 metres, to operate on Twickenham Stadium Event Days, and
(b) include in the provisions of the Twickenham Event Days Controlled Parking Zone lengths of Algar Road, Isleworth, Byfield Road, Isleworth and Tolson Road, Isleworth.
3. Copies of the Orders, which come into force on 8 January 2018, a plan showing the location and effect of the Orders, and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be inspected:
(a) at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) on the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames website at www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices;
(c) at the Forms and Documents Counter, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN between 9am and 4.15pm Mondays to Fridays except for Bank and other public holidays; or
(d) on the London Borough of Hounslow’s website at: www.hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar.
4. For anyone visiting the address at Twickenham, please quote Richmond’s reference, which is No. 17/174.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
