THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 765) ORDER 2018

THE EALING (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT NO. 31) TRAFFIC ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, on the 4th January 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Waiting Order will be to increase existing waiting restrictions to apply at any time in the length of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. The general effect of the School Keep Clear Order will be to enforce the school keep clear markings in Burwell Avenue and Elton Avenue so as to prohibit vehicles from stopping in a 25.56 metres length of Burwell Avenue and a 31.56 metres length of Elton Avenue between 8am and 9.30am and 3pm and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays.

4. The Orders, which will come into operation on the 8th January 2018, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, the traffic calming measures including plans, are available by e-mail from Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 15th February 2018.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

(a) the north-west side, between its junction with Horsenden Avenue North and the common boundary of Nos. 112 and 114 Elton Avenue;

Horsenden Lane North, Greenford

(a) the north side

(i) between a point 3.11 metres west of a point opposite the easternmost western wall of No.2 Sherwood Avenue and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 26 Horsenden Lane North;

(ii) between the common boundary of No.75 Horsenden Lane North and No. 1C Melville Avenue and the western kerb-line of Melville Avenue;

(b) the south side

(i) between the common boundary of Nos. 58 and 58a Horsenden Lane North and a point 5.5 metres west of the common boundary of Nos. 60 and 62 Horsenden Lane North;

(ii) between the common boundary of Nos. 65 and 67 Horsenden Lane North and a point opposite the south-eastern wall of No. 120 Elton Avenue.

Linden Crescent

Both sides, between its junction with Horsenden Lane North and a point opposite the northern wall of No. 60 Horsenden Lane North.

Melville Avenue

the west side, between the northern kerb-line of Horsenden Lane North and a point 4.4 metres north of the common boundary of No. 2a Melville Avenue and No. 1 Drew Gardens

Sherwood Avenue

(a) the east side, between a point 2.29 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Sherwood Avenue and the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Sherwood Avenue;

(b) the south-west side, between a point 5.59 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Sherwood Avenue and the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Sherwood Avenue
