THE EALING (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING ON AMBULANCE BAYS) (NO. 1) ORDER 2018

THE EALING (FREE PARKING PLACES) (NO. 1, 2014) (AMENDMENT NO.37) ORDER 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing on the 4th January 2018 the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Parking Place Order will be to provide a free parking place for vehicles without limit on time in Locarno Road

3. The general effect of the Ambulance Bay Order will be to introduce an area where no stopping at any time will be permitted by vehicles other than ambulances on the west side of Costons Lane, from a point 12.40 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Locarno Road, extending for 10.00 metres southwards.

4. The general effect of the Waiting Restriction Order will be to impose double yellow line waiting restrictions applying at any time in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

5. The Orders, which will come into operation on 8th January 2018, other documents including plans giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available by either e-mailing Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 15th February 2018.

6. If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

(a) the south side, between a point opposite the western wall of Brent Lodge No. 79 Costons Lane and a point opposite the eastern boundary of the Electricity substation adjacent to No. 36 Locarno Road;

(b) both sides, between its junction with Costons Lane and a point opposite the westernmost eastern wall of No. 35 Locarno Road.
