MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS

BIRCHLANDS AVENUE, CHATFIELD ROAD, EGLISTON ROAD, FISHPONDS ROAD, KEEVIL DRIVE, LINSTEAD WAY, ROCKLAND ROAD, STAPLEFORD CLOSE, VANT ROAD, WHITLOCK DRIVE

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004:

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas)

• (Amendment No. *) Order 201*

• The Wandsworth (Clapham South) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 201*

• The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 201*

• The Wandsworth (Tooting Broadway) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 201*

• The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common) (Parking Places) (No. *) Order 201*

• The Wandsworth (Pay and Display Parking Places) (No. *) Order 201*

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(a) in Birchlands Avenue, to remove 4.5 metres of parking place outside No. 7 Birchlands Avenue to accommodate a new vehicle crossover. A single yellow line waiting restriction operating between 10.30am and 11.30am on Mondays to Fridays would be provided at this location;

(b) in Chatfield Road:

(i) the north-east to south-west arm:

(A) to install new pay and display parking places operating between 8am to 6pm on Mondays to Fridays, on the north-west side outside No. 56 Chatfield Road and on the south-east side adjacent to Nos. 27 to 39 Chatfield Road; and

(B) to convert single yellow lines to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north-west side outside the Chatfield Medical Centre;

(ii) the north-west to south-east arm, to convert single yellow lines to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions at the junction with Chatfield Road, the north-east to south-west arm;

(c) in Egliston Road, to remove 5 metres of parking place outside No. 14 Egliston Road to accommodate a new vehicle crossover. A single yellow line waiting restriction operating between 9.30am and 10.30am on Mondays to Fridays would be provided at this location;

(d) in Fishponds Road, to remove 4 metres of parking place outside No. 4 Fishponds Road to accommodate a new vehicle crossover. A single yellow line waiting restriction operating between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays would be provided at this location;

(e) in Keevil Drive, to install double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions at various locations to provide access for the London Fire Brigade to block Nos. 1 to 63, 65 to 127 and 146 to 256 Keevil Drive;

(f) in Linstead Way, to install 19 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north side outside Nos. 21a to 22 Linstead Way;

(g) in Stapleford Close, to install double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions at the junction with Beaumont Road;

(h) in Vant Road, to remove 5 metres of parking place outside No. 64 Vant Road to accommodate a new vehicle crossover. A single yellow line waiting restriction operating between 9.30am and 5.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays would be provided at this location;

(i) in Whitlock Drive, to install double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions at various locations adjacent to dropped kerbs on Whitlock Drive to maintain access for refuse and recycling collection vehicles on the Edgecombe Hall Estate; and

(j) in Winthorpe Road, to remove 5 metres of parking place outside No. 1 Winthorpe Road to accommodate a new vehicle crossover. A single yellow line waiting restriction operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays would be provided at this location.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

5. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or the raised table should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting reference W/ECS/TMO1669) by 25th January 2018.
