20 MPH SPEED LIMIT —€“ KINGSDOWNE ROAD AND ST MATTHEWS ROAD, SURBITON (TMO-P260)

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended: - The Kingston upon Thames (20 MPH Speed Limit) (No.*) Traffic Order 201*.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph in the following roads or parts of roads;

• Iris Close, Surbiton;

• Kingsdowne Road, Surbiton, north-westwards from the common boundary between Nos. 26 and 28 (N.B. an existing 20 mph. speed limit in Kingsdowne Road is located north-westwards from its junctions with Iris Close and St. Matthew’€s Road); and

• St. Matthew's Road, Surbiton.

3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order can be inspected at The Information and Advice Centre, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

4. Persons desiring to object to any of the proposals or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect and, in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council in this matter to either The Director of Place, Traffic Order Section, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 1EU or email TMO@kingston.gov.uk, quoting reference TMO-P260 by 12th January 2018.
