The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Enfield (the “Council”) hereby give notice that they have made an Order under section 247 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended by Schedule 22 to the Greater London Authority Act 1999) (“the Act”) to authorise the stopping up of those parts of the highway as set out in the Schedule and shown shaded on the attached plan (“the Plan”).

The Order is made only in order to enable the development to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act by The London Borough of Enfield on the 21 November 2017 under reference 17/01900/FUL.

A copy of the Order and the Plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the twenty-eight days commencing on the 13 December 2017 at the offices of the London Borough of Enfield at Civic Centre Silver Street Enfield Middlesex EN1 3XD and may be obtained free of charge from that address quoting reference Mollison Avenue Highway Land Stopping Up 01/2017.

Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question its validity, or any provision contained in the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any procedural requirement of the Act or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the making of the Order may, within six weeks following the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provision contained in the Order .
