1. The Council of the London Borough of Hounslow on 27 November 2017 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 4 December 2017
2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to introduce a controlled parking zone in the Chiswick Riverside area. The CPZ would operate Mondays to Fridays 10am-noon, except Christmas Day, Good Friday and Bank Holidays in which vehicles displaying a valid permit may park. The CPZ will also consist of shared use bays, stop and shop bays allowing 30 minutes free parking, maximum stay of 1 hour and no return in 1 hour. List of streets which operate in the proposed CPZs can be found in Schedule 1, 2, 3 and 4 to this Notice. Detailed plan of the CPZ area can be viewed on the Council’s website.
3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading & Disabled parking bay Orders will be to further amend both Orders by adding new waiting restrictions & disabled parking bays in the lengths of road as detailed in Schedules 5, 6 and 7 to this Notice.
4. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to introduce electric vehicle charging bays in Strand on the Green, Chiswick to enable electric vehicle users to have access to un-obstructive parking space.
5. Documents giving detailed information of the Orders can be viewed for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this Notice:
(a) On the Council’s website at www.hounslow.gov.uk/trafficnoticelist and/or by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar; or
(b) at the Forms and Documents Counter, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN between 9am and 4.15pm Mondays to Friday.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
